Yes! All retail orders of $100 or more receive FREE SHIPPING within Canada just use the discount code FREE SHIPPING at checkout. We charge $15 flat rate shipping on all retail orders within Canada, $20 for orders to the United States.
Due to the personal nature of our handmade products we do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final. However, if you are absolutely dissatisfied with one of our products please tell us about it, and we'll see if there's something we can work out.
Our Soaps and Bubble Salt bases are made with natural ingredients and we scent them with Essential Oils and/ or Fragrance oils following the guidelines set by the IFRA (International Fragrance Rules Association) but everybody is different and pregnancy can change your sensitivities. Always consult a medical professional for any concerns with what products are safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding.
We follow IFRA (International Fragrance Rules Association) guidelines for the safe use of essential oils and fragrance oils to ensure the percentages we use are skin safe but be aware of your body's reaction. We always recommend patch testing for anyone trying new products for the first time.
No we do not conduct animal testing at our home studio in Qualicum Beach. The bigger question is Do We Buy Our Ingredients From Suppliers That Conduct Animal Testing? No we do not, we have our Leaping Bunny Certification which lets you know we are committed to ensuring there is no animal testing throughout our supply chain.
Yes, Palm Oil is a wonderful oil for soap making that produces a great lather and a harder bar of soap. We use RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) Certified Sustainable Palm Oil. One of the founding members of the RSPO was the World Wildlife Fund WWF. The RSPO sources palm oil from plantations that do not log in primary forests, areas of biodiversity or areas with endangered species. The RSPO is also an advocate for the fair treatment of workers.
